Char Dham Yatra 2018

Char dham yatra 2018 is a holy pilgrimage tour which is conducted every year from the month of April to November. Basically all the char dham are situated in the upper Himalayas due to which the weather conditions get extremly cold and snowfall occur which makes this place a tough survival platform for any individual due to which the temples are closed during the winter season.

As soon as the winter season gets over the doors are open for the peoples who want to visit the temples. There are many stories behind the dhams and why they are worshipped. Now we will talk about the four places one by one –

Yamunotri – This temple is dedicated to goddess Yamuna and it is situated in the Uttarkashi district of the Uttrakhand state. In the himalayas this temple looks beautiful and gives a perfect beauty of the place.

Gangotri – This temple is also situated in Uttrakashi and is devoted to goddess Ganga. This is the most scared river in Hindu religion. We also considered Ganga as mother as this river provides main source of water in many parts of the country.

Kedarnath – This temple is dedicated to lord Shiva and is situated in the Rudraprayag district. It is believed that lord Shiva meditated here and thus a positive energy get created which takes the shape of Shiv ling and thus this temple get its existance here. Shiva is known as the ultimate destroyer and those who came here he destroy their worries and evilness.

Badrinath – This temple is devoted to lord Vishnu who is also known as the saviour. It is situated in Chamoli district and this temple is also the part of bigger char dham circut. It is believed that those who come here lord Vishnu save them from the world evilness and pure their heart and soul.
